Will I be compensated if my customer uses the ERC Program?
Yes, you will. If your company provides or manages the design and fulfillment for the project and the ongoing maintenance, you will receive 8% of the 1st year receipts and 5% of all future payments as long the operator (customer) stays in the Program - in addition to your standard margins on products and services. If you don’t provide fulfillment we can still provide compensation for referring customers.
Will I make my standard margin on products, labor, and services?
Yes. When using the ERC Program we pay the cost of all design, product, installation, and labor and will pay you the same competitive rates and margins that you would typically receive on a project.
How and when do I get paid?
Contractors and ORMs providing products or services for an ERC project will receive prompt progress payments during the installation phase of the project. No concerns over how or when you’ll be paid.
What is an O.R.M.?
ORM is an acronym for Operator Relationship Manager. In our Program, the ORM is the entity that has the direct relationship with the operator (end-user) and the capabilities either directly or indirectly to complete the design and install of the project and to provide long-term support and maintenance.
Who chooses the products and design?
The operator (customer) works with their preferred contractor to choose the design and technology and/or equipment that best suits their needs. Most products within approved verticals will be eligible for the ERC Program provided they are of high quality, competitively priced, and reputable companies with clean supply chains.
What type of technology/equipment is eligible for the ERC Program?
The list of technology and equipment that are eligible for our Program is continually expanding but at this time it includes lighting, HVAC equipment, solar, EV charging, power factor optimization, air quality systems, intelligent controls, industrial steam and air compression equipment, and wastewater treatment systems.
Can I become an ERC Approved Partner? And if so, why?
Yes, it is possible to become an Approved Partner and there are many benefits to doing so.
ERC is only a financial services company. We do not sell or endorse any products or provide any installation or maintenance services. However, our marketing efforts, sales team, and word of mouth generate continual new projects across the country and increasingly in foreign markets as well. In many cases, we don’t have a contractor partner to provide fulfillment for these leads and as an ERC Approved Partner, you would be a preferred provider for those services.
Joint marketing potential. Our Approved Partners are those companies that we believe fully understand our Program and share our values so we are willing to participate with them in joint marketing efforts and to help drive leads directly to them.
Competitive Advantage. The ERC Program provides a valuable competitive advantage, especially for any project for which funding is a challenge, or for organizations that are restricted by the new GAAP accounting standards from using any kind of traditional lease, performance contract, or “as a service” type agreement.
Can I revive projects that have failed due to lack of funding with the ERC Program?
Yes, qualifying projects will not need any capital to complete their upgrades. The ERC Program pays all project costs. Design, installation, ongoing maintenance, and equipment lifecycle upgrades so let’s bring those projects back to life!
